IC industry as a talent, technology, capital-intensive high-tech industry.Asmarket demand uncertainty and tend to the development of personalized, productioncycles and manufacturing costs are higher, and the original sellers market haveceased to exist. IC manufacturers are facing the huge challenge in the new era. Costcontrol is the only way to improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the face of anincreasingly competitive market environment. Inventory management is growing thelargest one of total cost control for manufacturing enterprises, Especial for ICenterprises. Therefore, how to effectively manage inventory, and how to set areasonable inventory levels, has become the core concerns of many enterprises.The first article describes Company F of where the market environment, productcharacteristics, business processes, organizational structure, etc., through thedescription of the status quo of F Company in sales channels and inventory controland management status, further analyze the problems of the F company Company inthe sales channel, as well as inventory control and management issues.Followed by analysis and research on inventory management under VMI modeof operation of Company F, put forward the VMI-based sales inventorymanagement improvement strategy: adopt ABC inventory management methods toimprove the management of misplaced priorities; set up the Asset managementmethods to improve inventory turns; use weighted moving average forecastingmethod to optimize the management inventory; bring in third-party logistics to reducesupply chain logistics costs, and further analyze the introduction of third-partylogistics, inventory model, and draw the conclusion that the third-party logisticsinvolvement can reduce more logistics costs effectively than adopting own logistics..Finally by analysis of the operation processes of G-HUB mode in Fcompany,this article explore and come up with one series of inventory managementand improvement strategies: such as the introduction of the matrix organizationalstructure and functions of the conversion. On the basis of the G-HUB inventorymanagement, time-based optimization of multi-level inventory management model toimprove the efficiency of the entire supply chainThis study can help to improve the inventory management of IC enterprise in thesales field, and through the analysis of actual cases, specific improvement strategies to optimize the actual operation of the enterprise, through theoretical knowledge in orderto improve efficiency and the cost control.
