In order to improve the external competitiveness of enterprises, more and moreenterprises begin to adopt the project teams. Compared to general departmental staffs,project teams have lots of specificity. Appropriate and effective performancemeasurement is very important for improving the performance of teams andorganizations.H company’s main business form is construction, and its project teams havemany typical characteristics of Chinese enterprises. This study based on the status ofthe performance measurement system of project teams in H company. The authoranalyzed the problems of the system, and put forward a proposal andrecommendations to improve the performance measurement system.In this article, the theory of the project team performance measurement isintroduced, raising the importance of team performance measurement. Based on thestatus of project team performance of H company, I analyzed the problems accordingto the existing research. This is an important part in the article, and is the basis forbringing forward the improvement strategies for the performance measurementsystem after. By theoretical exploration and qualitative analysis, I proposed a newproject team performance measurement model and a new tool. And these are positivefor company choose right persons and employee career development.Besides, this article also proposes the development process of the index of Hcompany project team performance measurement. And how to improve themanagement of the project team though performance measurement is suggested.
