With the rapid development of China's economic construction,the construction of engineering projects has increased year by year,and more and more attention has been paid to the project team.The research on team performance of engineering projects has also become the core issue of team research.Besides the output of work effectiveness,team innovation also plays an important role in the field of engineering projects.Therefore,how to improve team performance comprehensively has become managers' concern.In the process of team operation,the key to determine the team performance is to give full play to the advantages of team members to improve their work output.Managers should manage effectively from the perspective of members'work value needs.Because of the complexity and uncertainty of the project,team conflict often occurs in the project team.There are usually task conflicts and relationship conflicts,which have a positive or negative impact on team performance.Therefore,conflict management is essential.From the perspective of empirical research,this paper explores the internal mechanism among team members' work value,team conflict and project team performance,aiming at providing theoretical guidance and decision-making reference for managers.First,this paper combs the theme of this study——work value,team conflict,team performance through literature summary,and clarifies the entry point.Then,starting from the specific situation of the project team,it defines their connotation,dimension division and project situation performance,and further explores the mechanism between them.Based on the results of the analysis,it establishes the hypothesis model of work value,team conflict and team performance.Independent variables include three types of work value:Comfort and security,Competence and growth,Status and independence.Mediating variables include task conflict and relationship conflict.Dependent variables include work effectiveness and team innovation.On the basis of modifying the existing scale,the questionnaire is designed to obtain data.Structural equation model is used to verify the hypothesis,and regression analysis is used to verify the mediating effect of team conflict,and the following conclusions are drawn:the first is that members' work value has certain predictive power to team conflict;the second is that different dimensions of project team conflict had different effects on team performance;the third is that team conflict plays a mediating role in the process of work value influencing team performance.According to these research conclusions,this paper proposes relevant suggestions for promoting the team performance of engineering projects.Finally,this paper analyzes the deficiencies of this paper and put forward suggestions for future research directions.
