In current,world economic development the demand for resources increasing, coal priceswere rising, the investment patterns of domestic coal resources was changing, being formed ofcoal resources and new investment and development boom. In this context, the coal companiesand investors have an urgent need to invest in risk assessment theory to be guided. Domesticand foreign scholars have made a great effort in this area. Previous studies on the economicassessment of coal resources, investment projects typically use deterministic methods, analysisof the value of the change within a range, simply reflects the amount of change, does notanalyze the corresponding effects. It can not be generated by the project as a whole reflect theproject risk and the reliability of the variation in the value of a project risk analysis.In order to better meet the needs of investors, through the analysis of domestic and foreignenterprises to invest in risk assessment theory and related research, and combined with theparticularity of the coal enterprises in investment, the author study the specific application of thecoal enterprises to invest in risk assessment and evaluation system. This study analyzes the risksfaced by the coal enterprises in the project investment process. And the investment riskassessment system is designed. The writer select the Net Present Value and establishes a riskassessment model for coal enterprises investment. In this paper, the author use computerprogramming, simulates the assessment process of the Monte Carlo, and analysis to verify theactual project.Coal enterprises through the establishment of suitable risk assessment model for dataanalysis, and obtained the distribution function of the sensitive risk factors. Obtained by MonteCarlo simulation of the risk assessment process, the range of risk variables of the operation ofthe project, project feasibility assessment and project profitability control interval. Assessmentresults were compared with actual production and operation data to verify the reliability of thispaper, the design of the risk assessment system. The project investment for coal companies toprovide more clear and objective basis.
