The Hebei Coastal Strategy Research In Marxism Regional Economy Theory Perspective

“The Twelfth Five Year Plan of the People’s Republic of China national economy andsocial development emphasizes focusing on promoting the regional development of Hebeicoastal area etc”, which means the Hebei costal area that consists of Qinhuangdao，Tangshan and Changzhou will enter the national strategy. The coastal area of Hebeientering the national strategy is not only conducive to change China’s coastal economicdevelopment pattern, but also conducive to the coordinated development of regionaleconomies. Studying Hebei coastal strategy with Mar’s theory of regional economy notonly discusses the theoretical basis of the strategy proposing, but also discusses Mar’stheory of regional economy on the strategy of guiding significance.“Implementation viewabout accelerating the development of coastal economy, promoting industry transferring tocoastal areas’’ formulated by Hebei Province points out constructing the port industryaggregation area in the coastal area, realizing reconstructing a Hebei goal in the coastalarea. Therefore, formulating Hebei coastal economy strategy positively to adapt thecurrent domestic economic environment is very necessary.This paper regards Marx’s regional economics as the theoretical basis, throughresearching domestic and foreign regional policy evolution, taking Hebei coastal areasinto the national strategy for background, and analyzes current Hebei coastal area’sstrategic position in China’s economic development. With the SWOT analysis method astool, through analyzing Hebei coastal strategy, it sums up Hebei coastal region has its ownadvantages and disadvantages, including natural resources, human resources and industrialstructure etc; It also sums up facing and to face the external environment opportunities andthreats, including economic globalization deepening, domestic industry focus shifting andenvironmental carrying capacity declining etc. Finally, establishing the SWOT matrixmodel, considering Hebei Province’s actual circumstance and development train ofthought, it proposes the suggestions and countermeasures of developing coastal economy.
