| Provincial economic is an regional economy of the administrative division in ourcountry, most economic activities are run on a provincial scale. Therefore, provincialeconomic plays a decisive role in China’s economic development. Provincial economiccompetitiveness’s analysis and evaluation reflects the strength of the region’s economies.The economic competitiveness is reflects not only a total economic growth, industryupgrading, basic environmental improvement and adjustment of the financial order, butalso the improvement of government’s functions, the improvement of people’s livingstandards, perfect embodiment of regional innovation system.The object of research of this article is provincial economic competitiveness. Itthrough the extraction of a set of indicators to find an effective method that couldevaluate provincial economic competitiveness to provide help and experience for theprovincial economic competitiveness of our country. The competitiveness of provincialeconomy system that under the guidance of regional innovation system point of view isdivided into three aspects, respectively, as the main body in the innovationcompetitiveness, economic environmental factors of competitiveness, competitiveresource structure. Analysis of the competitiveness of the various aspects, according tothe principles and method of index extraction, puts forward the eight secondary indexesand31three-level index. Because the index number is too much and some of them arerepeat information, so we only extract and analyze the principal component from thoseindex. Considering the evaluation problem of multiple input multiple outputcharacteristics, this paper chose the method of data envelopment analysis (DEA) model.And then, we can put forward rational countermeasures and suggestions to improve theeconomic competitiveness of Hebei province on the basis of analysis on comprehensiveevaluation of economic competitiveness in Hebei province. |
