Research On The Impact Of Beijing Tianjin Hebei Integration On Regional Economic Development

Since the development and reform departments of the three provinces of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei reached the "Langfang Consensus" in 2004,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region has launched a comprehensive cooperation,bursting out a strong economic development potential,and the integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has gradually developed into a national strategy.Promoting regional integration of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei is currently the key to achieving coordinated development and mutual benefit of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei.Therefore,to accurately understand the impact of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration policy on regional economic development is not only to promote the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration It plays an important role and has theoretical and practical significance for improving the process of regional integration in China.In this study,the economic-level panel data of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 2000 to 2018 was used to first describe and analyze the economic development status of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region;secondly,the establishment of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integrated policy evaluation methods and indicators;and then the synthesis The control method "stripped" the "net policy effect" of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration to explore the effect of its policy implementation on the economic development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.At the same time,the double difference method was tested to pass the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration policy.The policy effects of the three dimensions of regional economic growth,innovative development and opening to the outside world before and after implementation are compared to test whether the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration policy can promote economic development in the regionThe research results show that:(1)From the perspective of economic growth,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration policy can promote the overall economic growth of the region.The test results by provinces show that the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration policy has a significant promotion effect on Beijing and economic growth;it has not achieved the expected effect on Hebei’s economic growth.(2)From the perspective of innovation and development,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration policy promotes the overall innovation and development of the region.The test results by province show that Beijing and Tianjin have a significant promotion effect on innovation and development,but the policy effect on Hebei has not reached the expected effect.(3)From the perspective of opening to the outside world,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integration policy promotes the development of the region’s overall opening to the outside world.The test results by province show that it has a promoting effect on Beijing and Tianjin but is not significant,and it has not achieved the expected effect on HebeiFinally,the conclusion is drawn through the empirical results of the synthetic control method,and the problems existing in the economic development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are analyzed.At the same time,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to promote the regional economic development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
