With the in-depth development of knowledge-based economy, the competitionbetween current enterprises has gradually evolved into their competition of talent qualityand quantity. SZ company is a city branch under the domestic well-known Telecom Group.Faced with a new round restructuring of telecommunications industry and the increasinglyfierce competition in the market, the former salary system obviously fails to meet therequirements of the company’s development. Therefore, improving pay system is of greatsignificance in further strengthening the company’s maket position.Five parts are included in the thesis. The first part introduces the background,significance, content and thoughts of the research. In the second part the theoretical basisof salary system which the thesis is based on has been discussed. The third part studies thecurrent status of SZ company’s marketing staff remuneration system and gives empiricalanalysis. Part IV discusses the necessity for the improvement of the salary system, itsgoals and prnciples, at the same time proposes an improvement project in aspect of salaryand benefits changes. Finally, the paper analyses the problems and difficulties that may beencountered in the process of real implementation. And particular plans and supportingmeasures are suggested to ensure that the program improved may achieve the desiredresults.This thesis is focused on how to well combine current enterprises’ characteristics withtheir competitive strategies,since it benefits the application of classic theories on humanresources to concrete practice. And as a result, SZ company’s pay system for marketingpersonnel will be optimized and greatly improved. To achieve a thorough analysis on thecompany’s pay system, a variety of research methods are involved in this paper, includingdocumental analysis, questionnaire method, observation. The paper proposes a suitablepay program which is both practical and operable. It’s hoped that this thesis can serve asthe material for the empirical research of the domestic telecommunications industry.
