Performance management is an important ways and means of the manpower resourcemanagement of corporations in nowadays has become critical for the modern enterprisesto win competitive edge.Therefore,by applying modern and advanced performancemanagement system and to mobilize the employees’ enthusiasm and continuously improvethe employees’ performance is an important research object in modern enterprisemanagement.We first define some conceptions that relate to performance and evaluate the popularperformance management methods. These can offer theoretical basis for establishing areasonable performance management system. We clear up the threat, opportunity, strengthand weakness of company JSGS through the analysis of environmental facts for basis ofdrawing up company’s strategy map. We also analyze the current situation of performanceevaluation and point out the problems and the reasons of problems. In order to designJSGS’s performance management system, we should use Balanced Score Cardand KeyPerformance Indicator supporting the organization of performance management,performance training and improving system.Summing up,after studying the performance management design theory anddesigning the performance appraisal system for JSGS company,the writer thinks thecompany performance appraisal system design should change when needed to match thechanged business strategy,so as to use reasonable the performance appraisal system designto set up a performance management that work efficiently for the company. It can improveperformance of the organization and its members and strengthen its competitiveness.
