China SMEs which becoming an important component of China’s nationaleconomy, after decades of developing, recently encountered unprecedenteddifficulties.Ideas which to help them out of the woods aim at encouraging innovation,technological innovation or solving the financing difficulties.In this paper, we select a particular and large groups from the small andmedium-sized enterprises-small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in themiddle of the supply chain, analyze and summarize the characteristics of theseenterprises and now the status quo at home and abroad as well as the problems whichbeen accumulated in the development process, and explore the root of these problems.Then we introduce the definition, origin, classification, feature of the manufacturestrategy, and drew a conclusion that the manufacture strategy of the small andmedium-sized manufacturing enterprises which in the middle section of the supplychain is ATO, or should be more consistent with the type of ATO certaincharacteristics. Contrasting the current condition of these enterprises, then we find outthe current deficiencies of these enterprises.In order to fundamentally solve the problems, we select the Hangzhou YX carinterior parts Co., Ltd. as an example to analyze its manufacturing strategy explicitly.Then we study the detail of Hangzhou YX s manufacturing management mode, try tosum up some useful lessons.Hangzhou YX constructs a mode that based on smoothlogistics, oriented from customization, uses time mode as a precondition, to be tied inwith the organizational structure, supported by optimization of the process, of threecurrents combination as a method, of P D C A as a mean, of computer software forthe tool, aimed of lowing the consumption as far as possible, as a result the rapidcirculation. to effectively solve the small and medium size manufacturing enterprisesin the middle of the supply chain the problem they faced.This mode emphasizes thatthe enterprise development relies on endogenous power, especially on the change andadapt from itself. By constructing a new type of management model, then reallyintegrating into the enterprise’s supply chain, one enterprise can fundamentally solvethe current problems it faced by. Enterprise depends on the increase the financial turnover, lower their operatingcosts, the promotion of the enterprise’s management and service level to realize thecomparative advantage. And then they can realize the target that less inventorybacklog, low indirect costs, quick capital turnover, small production loss, shortproduction period, low production cost, on time delivery, in order to establish theenterprise’s core competitiveness.This management model is of advantages that easyimplementation, strong operability, and easy to see effect.
