Enterprise culture is group consciousness, which is formed in the company.Enterprise culture has great influence on company objective, company strategy andcompany decisions. In addition, enterprise culture, staff behavior and social culture affecteach other. Which kind of problem does American company culture will encounter inChina? How to handle these problems through human resource approach is veryimportant.HP enterprise services delivery (Wuhan) Co. Ltd. is settled as the research sample,this article base on it and systematically study staff value and American company culture.First of all, this article explain Hofstede’s five dimension theory, which is Power Distance,Individualism and Collectivism, Masculinity and Femininity, Uncertainty Avoidance andLong-term and Short-term. This theory summarize five aspects of value. Secondly,according to the five dimension theory and traditional dimension, we design questionnaireand delivery to more than two hundred staff in HP Wuhan company. Then, we recoverythe questionnaire and analyze data, which is the base of cross-culture managementresearch. Thirdly, this article analysis HP Wuhan staff value based on Hofstede theory andquestionnaire data. Analysis result is staff disagree high power distance and traditional,while they agree all other four dimensions. Finally, based on company problem, staffvalue and enterprise culture gap, this article find out solving strategy.We could tell by carefully analyzing the survey results that HP Wuhan companystaff’s value is positive, keep pace with the times and suitable for US-owned enterprise. Inorder to better implement enterprise strategy management, HP Wuhan company shouldinnovate and practice more new policies, which are benefit to company and staff. Forexample, the first, pay attention to staff ability training, let each excellent employee gettraining opportunity and promote business ability; secondly, guide Chinese employee toadapt to low right distance management mode and matric management mode ofUS-owned company so as to get job done efficiently; thirdly, establish internal candidatessystem to promote junior employees.
