Imports Of Coking Coal Industry Supply Chain Management Research

Coking coal is the iron and steel industry important rawmaterials, and steel industry in the national economy is an important basic industry, therefore, coking coal resources effectively supply directly related to the sustainable development of steel and iron industry in China and the social progress. With China’s economic construction of rapid development, China’s steel and iron industry also is rapid and outspread, leading to the uptick in demand for coking coal resources. Since2004, China has become a net importer of coking coal. On the market in the international coking coal, with the Asia in Japan is the main rivals. From this year, coking coal resources growing demand at home and abroad, the price also soared. Steel enterprise production have varying degrees of coking coal resources supply problems received, also faces a huge cost pressure. In the cost of imported coking coal, the logistics cost occupies a large proportion.This paper first reviews the supply chain and the related theory of knowledge supply chain management, this paper introduces the meaning of supply chain structure and the characteristics, supply chain management thinking of the meaning and essence, and the supply chain management of the basic way. Secondly, this paper briefly expounds the domestic coking coal industry profiles, and analyzed the use of coking coal terminal of steel industry operation, take this simple introduced the domestic coking coal supply reasons. And then to import coking coal as the center, the first analyzes our country to import the external environment of the coking coal and the industry status, and discusses the current coking coal import industry supply chain management problems.
