| With the development of communication technology, the appearance of digitalcontent with diverse forms becomes more and more frequent in our daily life andproduction and trade. However, digital content has some inherent drawbacks, such aseasy to be copied, spread and modified, which impels the development of digital rightsmanagement (DRM). Unfortunately, the existing DRM technologies mainly considerthe benefits of content provider while ignores the requirements of user. And it bringsdifferent degrees of damage to fair use and privacy protection. Therefore, in order to improve user’s acceptance of DRM and solve the benefitconflict between content provider and user to achieve the reciprocal situation, requirements and rights of user should be paid more attention to based on the protectionof digital content and the rights of content provider. Only in this way both of the userand content provider can benefit in the use of digital content. Considering user’s rights, this paper focuses on right balance by analyzing the existing DRM schemes. The maincontent of this article are as follows:(1) Research on the conflicts of benefits between content provider and user inDRM, and analyse the problems of user privacy, fair use and the quality demand causedby the DRM system.(2) Using the basic idea of the game theory, a game model of DRM is establishedfor user privacy, different requirements of content quality, and DRM technicalprotection level. Moreover, according to the utility function of content provider and user,we work out the solution of this game, which provides the mathematical theory supportfor reasonably analyzing the optimal strategy and the design of the related parametersbetween the content provider and user.(3) A simulation of the DRM model is carried out by the simulation tool MATLAB.According to the analysis of the effect with different parameters related to the user andcontent provider to the model, the proposed model can be validated to be correct andreasonable. |
