Research On Supplier Performance Evaluation Index System Of F Corporation

With the influence of global economic integration, China has become one of thefastest growing countries on supply chain management (SCM) industry in the world,since the modern logistics concept was introduced to China. In this trend, themanufacturing\commercial enterprises in China increasingly pay special attention tosupplier evaluation, when they advance the strategy of supply chain and buildefficient logistics system. Facing with numerous domestic\foreign suppliers’enterprises, enterprise managers have to face with the choice, which is related to thecomplex balance between cost controlling and service improving. So, how can weassess the rapidly changing logistics service providers, and how can we search for thesatisfactory suppliers as a strategic partner has become the important issues ofcommon concern.In this paper, the Technical for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution(TOPSIS) method based on the Association for improved method of AnalyticHierarchy Process (AHP), are used on the research of the suppliers evaluation andselection. The decision-making model is also given correspondingly. Based on acompatible evaluation index system, which is suitable for the supplier evaluation of Fcorp.,.Improved method of Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to identify theclassifying index weights, and then TOPSIS is used to select the best supplier. BothExcel VBA and MATLAB is used to test the result of decision-making model, whichis one of the innovations in this paper. Eventually, the evaluation and selection of theactual procurement of the F Corp., for instance, a few vendor partners that supply asame part, is described in detail on the method, steps and conclusions. Throughverification, and combining the practical situation of F Corp., it is proved that themodel and method are effective.
