Research On Supplier Selection Based On Improved TOPSIS Method Of Entropy Combining Weight

The supplier selection is an important content in supply chain management. A number of factors need to be considered. So it is difficult to establish a universally applicable supplier selection indicators system. The thesis starts with the supply chain and supply chain management, analyses the question existing in a suppliers, and provides necessity of scientific evaluation of the supplier selection. And then we analyze comparatively the characteristics of supplier selection under the traditional purchasing environment and supply chain management environment, and give comprehensive consideration of factors in supply chain management. We point out the deficiencies of weight by solely judging subjectively in traditional supplier selection. Finally, subjective opinions are combined with objective situations and the quantitative analysis is combined with qualitative analysis. The weight coefficient is given by means of entropy coefficient and TOPSIS method for the selection and evaluation of suppliers. Empirical study shows that the method is scientific and reasonable, which has a reference value.
