Logistics Park, as a product of the development of modern logistics, is one emerging logistic mode featured by accumulation and evacuation. Resources complementation and scale effect can be accomplished through its comprehensive advantages. As the modern logistics is a system which needs large investments and high technologies, Logistics Park, a logistics node, can play an advancing role in social economics. Therefore the social and economic impact assessment will be an indispensable part in evaluating the constructions project of the logistics park in China. As the significant node of modern logistic system and the cluster of logistic industry, Logistics Park has already been considered as a new potential increasing point intended for promoting the progress of urban and regional economics. Its investment, construction and operation will make dramatic contributions to regional economics, and produce huge social and economic benefits. From the perspective of growth pole theory under the regional economic theory, this thesis indicates that the Logistics Park, functioning as an emerging mode of accumulation for modern logistics, will be a growth pole for certain cities or regions. Not merely will it form a strong economy of scale, the Logistics Park will also cast a progressive influence to other economic industries through Dominance Effect, Multiplier Effect and Polarization-Diffusion Effect. According to the growth pole theory, during the development of logistics, the logistics park will advance and spur the common development of surrounding area and achieve a relatively balanced development of regional economics through Radiation Effect and Trickling-Down Effect. This thesis intends to divide the contributions of regional economics into two parts:one to the economic growth of the park itself; the other to the development of regional economics. Firstly, take the modern circulation service base of Chizhou as an example. According to the input-output table, the direct and indirect contributions to regional economics (including the Backward Pulling Contribution, the Forward Push Contribution and the Consumption Stimulation Contribution) are validated and calculated by Input-Output analysis. By calculating contribution equivalent, it can be concluded that every1yuan invested by the construction of the modern logistics service base project in chizhou will have a16.7yuan contribution equivalent in its GDP, with direct contribution value added0.4yuan and indirect one16.4yuan. In the latter, the values added of the backward pulling contribution, forward pushing contribution and consumption stimulation contribution are0.6yuan,7.38yuan and8.32yuan respectively. Secondly, the thesis analyzes that the contributions of regional economics brought out by the operation of modern logistics service base involve the following fronts:a. the accumulation effect towards logistic cluster; b. spuring the economics of regional development and strengthen the vigor in the commercial circulation field; c. perfecting the investment environment and urban comprehensive logistic function; d. increasing the employment.
