This year is the40th year of US President Nixon’s visit to China and the establishmentof SINO-US diplomatic ties after the World War II. During the past40years, weexperience a lot of challenges and changes around the world: The disintegration of theSoviet Union, The bursting of Japan bubble economy after rapid growth, Europe’sintegration and so on. But most importantly, we witness US and China’s development andgrowth. US get rid of the Cold War and become homopolar power to dominate worldeconomy and affairs. China shocks the world with its rapid economy growth through openand reform and turns into the second largest economy in the world. Because of the worldeconomic globalization development, more and more companies from the two countriesgrow its economic strength and scale in the severe market competition and become aglobal group company. Haier, GE, Lenovo, Motorola, Apple, a series of well-known USand Chinese multi-national corporation name and its products have already covered everyaspect of our everyday lives. We may ask ourselves a question: How these enterprisesoperate and generate profit with different management and culture styles in a relativelyunified social and economic environment.It is no doubt that there are a lot of factors to effect group enterprises managementmode, including its domestic economic environment,staff core value, culture, businessscale, industry, the development stage of the company, the management framework ofentrepreneur oneself structure, leadership style and so on. This paper attempts to sort outthe business management culture basic definition and component from the culture ofenterprise management the basic concept and analyze the two most typical US and Chinesegroup company: GE and Haier as the case. With cross-culture management latitude, toanalyze Sino-US companies’ similarities and differences in the management of culturalsystem, which is easier to help us to understand these two countries’ enterprise economicactivities.
