The topics of this thesis is different agricultural technology demands of large-scale rice farmers in Jiangxi province. The definition of agricultural technology is the floorboard which reflected the law of agricultural production field and the application achievement in production field.2012the "Central No.1Document" placed the agricultural technology on a more prominent and stresses to make breakthroughs of important key technologies and common technologies in agriculture field, and puts forward that agricultural production should rely on science and technology and that agricultural technology should serve the production. Jiangxi province, as one of the major rice producing areas, facing the environment of cultivated land become increasingly tense, should rely on agricultural technology which is regarded as a strong guarantee of steady growth in its food. As the main demand for agricultural technologies, large-scale rice farmers’needs will largely affect the promotion of agricultural technology. Based on large-scale rice farmers’needs of agricultural technology, this thesis reveal the laws of the farmers’ needs of agricultural technology and find factors of large-scale rice farmers’ needs on different types of agricultural technology through empirical study. Research results of this thesis make a great contribution to the promotion of agricultural technology and provide recommendations for the construction of agricultural extension services system in Jiangxi province. Therefore, this thesis has important practical significance and application value.This thesis first reviews the literature of the impact factors of demand for agricultural technology, explaining the theoretical basis of this study is the induced innovation theory, the agricultural technology diffusion theory and the farmers’ behavior theory. In accordance with the different existence forms, rice production technology is divided into materialized agricultural technology and operational agricultural technology. From farmers’internal characteristics and production environment characteristics, the writer make a theoretical analysis on a number of factors affecting agricultural technology needs and assign the variable. According the1077samples data collected through the questionnaires, the writer analyze the priority sequence of the large-scale rice farmers’ demand for agricultural technology. The results show that the top ten agricultural technology demands of large-scale rice farmers in Jiangxi province are:high yield and high quality taking into account the variety, quality varieties, accurate pest and disease prevention, pest and disease forecasting precision, broadcast technology, harvesting techniques, fertilizer, high-yielding varieties, planting machinery, bio-pesticides, and the priority of the different characteristics of large-scale rice farmers’demand for agricultural technology in line withOn the basis of above theoretical analysis and descriptive statistics, the seventh part, using contingency table analysis methods conducts correlation analysis for agricultural technology demand factors associated with large-scale rice farmers, concludes respectively each factor associated with two types of agricultural technology and regards them as the explanatory variable. The eighth part, using the counting model conducts remarkable analysis for value factors with physical agricultural technology demand number and operation of agricultural technology demand number and finds out significant factors that affect two kinds of agricultural technology demand. Analysis results of the counting model indicate:significant factors that affect the physical agricultural technology demand number have employment labor cost, government incentives and support, evaluation of agricultural technology changes, agricultural subsidies put and hilly terrain. In which, employment labor cost, agricultural subsidies put and hilly terrain are positively related to physical agricultural technology demand number, evaluation of agricultural technology changes and government incentives and support are negatively related to physical agricultural technology demand number. Significant factors that affect the operation of agricultural technology demand number have income level, employment labor cost, infrastructure condition, agricultural subsidies put and hilly terrain and these factors are positively related to the operation of agricultural technology demand number.Finally, summarizes the above research results and puts forward the relevant policy recommendations:attach importance of education and technical training, catch good paddy thoroughbred technology service, perfect the technique equip system and improve agricultural infrastructure condition and so on.
