Followed by analysis of the social value of thefood supply chain information sharing can contribute to the macro-control of thenational food, ensuring food security and increase farmer’ income. Then the profits ofthe traditional food supply chain and information sharing supply chain analysis andcost comparison analysis, the information is shared not only can reduce the total costof the food supply chain, but also to increase the economic value of the total profits ofthe food supply chain. Followed by analysis of the value of the food supply chaininformation sharing, come to a node through information-sharing platform to realizethe value of the food supply chain. Finally, the case of the famer settlement cardsystem in the realization of the value of information sharing, the elaboration andevaluation, further confirms the value of the food supply chain information sharing.
