With the socio-economic development and deepening of information technology, modern logistics has been a great development. Today, the logistics industry has become a very important part of the national economy. The enterprise, not just the third profit source logistics and logistics capability is seen as the core competitiveness of enterprises, logistics enterprises to gain a competitive advantage capabilities as a strategic resource; for an economic regions, not only the efficiency of logistics operations determine the region’s economic competitiveness, but also an important area to ensure sustainable economic development. However, in today’s socio-economic development and social work to accelerate the pace of work, the customer for the enterprise part of the product supply chain and distribution requirements are higher and higher, lagging behind the development of logistics and distribution center logistics enterprises in China has become a constraint, a large fast-selling product companies and other bottlenecks, to how to design and transformation of enterprise distribution system to improve distribution efficiency, one important issue is the location of distribution centers. Distribution center location decisions determine the entire distribution system model and structure, limits the choice of distribution system operation methods and their associated costs. Therefore, to minimize the cost of building a regional distribution center location problem with a mathematical model has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper summarizes the distribution center location research literature, describes the current development at home and abroad and the proposed approach; summarizes the location of the basic theory, basic methods, the basic model and discusses the factors affecting the distribution center location; From the quantitative point of view of the most important siting cost analysis, and in view of the majority of the previous study of the distribution center location problem is to choose the discrete points, with a certain degree of subjectivity, this study from the continuity location point of view to establish the corresponding mathematical model, the model of the proposed algorithm is a heuristic genetic algorithm and genetic algorithm for a more detailed description. On this basis, through the analysis of specific examples and calculations to prove the reasonableness and feasibility of the model. Conclusions of this paper isto establish distribution centers for companies in the pursuit of minimizing the totalcost of distribution under the premise of providing the reference distribution centerlocation, with good theoretical and application value.
