Since German sociologist Max Weber proposed the concept ‘charisma’ in theearly20thcentury, more and more scholars have conducted researches about leaders’charisma. Therefore, the theory of Charismatic leadership has been developed.By reviewing about researches on Charismatic leadership, Employees’ creativebehavior and Creative self-efficacy, considering leadership and employee innovationunder the cultural background of China, we mainly analyze to what extantCharismatic leadership can influent Employees’ creative behavior and the mediatingrole of creative self-efficacy. Applying previous scales-CK scale, Employees’ creativebehavior scale and Creative self-efficacy scale as our questionnaires, we havecollected205valid respondents, which mainly come from Nanjing, Qingdao,Hangzhou and Shanghai.Under assistance of SPSS17.0, we conduct the reliability analysis, validityanalysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis of relevant data, the results showthat:1. Charismatic leadership and Employees’ creative behavior have significantlypositive correlation.2. Charismatic leadership and Creative self-efficacy have significantly positivecorrelation.3. Creative self-efficacy and Employees’ creative behavior have significantlypositive correlation.4. Creative self-efficacy leads a partly mediating role in the correlation betweenCharismatic leadership and Employees’ creative behavior.The conclusions of this research have some theoretical and practical significance.How to motivate employees and improve their autonomy in work by enhance theircreative self-efficacy, and then improve employees’ innovation and organizationperformance, this research would give some suggestions to leaders in China.
