With the rapid development of modern enterprise and the fast variable requirement of market, the issue of how to improve the production efficiency of assembly line and decrease the WIP as well as equalization the pipeline has became the top priority case in many plants. Generally, enterprises use the index of line balance rate and line imbalance loss rate for line evaluation.Through studying of engine assembly line under real produce circumstance, we modified the assembly line and promote the production efficiency. It is clear to see the beneficial influence of industrial engineering in promoting the line balance rate. This essay recounted the theory of line balance and industrial engineering. The essay also analyses the evaluation method and mainly influencing factor. Additionally, we aimed at the low line balance rate of the line and do further study on the pipeline to find its influencing factor:inappropriate duty arrangement, obvious bottleneck position, poor standardization of work and disorderly placed tools and shelves.Through optimization of the two major aspects of the assembly line balancing research and foundation work research, the production efficiency of the assembly line in DYC Company has been raised. The industrial engineering methods and the technique of line balance optimization using in this essay have the guiding sense and reference value for the design of dispersancy manufacturing firm’s assembly line balance and its improvement. |
