With the changes in the economic development and consumer demand, the traditional mode of production is no longer a single species has begun to adapt to market development. At the same time, as consumer products have become increasingly demanding personalized, products showed a trend of diversification, Single species or less production can not meet consumer demand. Therefore, many varieties of mixed production lines gradually become a trend in manufacturing industry. With the large-scale application of Mixed Production Line, Mixed production line applications are gradually emerging issues presented, however, Mixed production line for domestic enterprises lack of systematic research, resulting in generally low efficiency balanced mixed production lines. So to find a reasonable and effective mixed production line planning and balanced approach has important implications for companies in the current situation. This paper selects F company class P product as a research object. The status of the production line P products were investigated and analyzed, P class product lines are the traditional single-species production line. Where P1, P2 production of both products can be greater than the amount of customer orders, resulting in the case of idle production lines and causing unnecessary losses to the enterprise. Therefore, P1 and P2 two products production line needs to be transformed. Since P1, P2 two products are P products in the different types of products, both products have very similar and mixed production to meet the conditions, so both products were mixed transformation. In this paper, the basic theory and methods of industrial engineering for the two products were mixed flow analysis to determine the sequence diagram of the pipeline job priority. The use of heuristic balanced approach for mixed assembly line to conducted station planning, then, determine the minimum number of stations required pipeline and improvements planned pipeline. In the scheduling problem transformed the balance of this multi-objective optimization problem pipeline into seeking idle time and minimum overload with the single objective problem, And build mathematical model for objective function. Using genetic algorithms to solve the established model to achieve the purpose of mixed assembly line optimization.
