The finacial crisis of2008has brought great disaster to the world, since then the global economy has been in the shadow of it. As an international PCB company,it was deeply affected.Recently, due to the international impact, increasing appreciation of the RMB, cause export more and more difficult; Increasingly strict environmental requirements, make the daily expenditure of the enterprise is growing; some scandals, like the employees jumping off building, make managers have to adjust wages and salaries largely; some companies are accused of Chinese "sweatshops" by the international Society, and are forced to control the number of overtime hours; the changes increased manufacturing cost; the main materials of the printed circuit board PCB, like copper clad laminate and other metal materials, the prices have skyrocketed, but the valued-added tax refund from13%to5%, which make a great shock for the our enterprises in the. In addition,"labor shortage" appeared again and again in recent years, which led to not recruit ordinary workers even paying higher wages, caused the company no enough workers in a long time;the situation seriously affected the enterprise’s production, and reduced the company’s profit. All these factors make the company’s competition less attractive, eachcircuit the company manage to keep the competition advantage. In the current environment for the PCB industry,And what’s more, customers are increasingly strict with the supplier’s delivery time, supplier who fail to reach delivery will be canceled orders. But if we can meet the delivery time or the time is earlier than competitors for one day, then you can get orders. After years of continuous improvement, PCB production cycle time is basically the same, and has been compressed to the limit (the ordinary eight-layer board is basically six days). Therefore, the dispute between the major competitors, in fact, is the contention of ultimate time. If we can shorten the time24---48hours, it will be a huge success, Therefore, the company must race against time to compress the time from every aspect. The company must produce more products in the shortest possible time, so that he can overcome the difficults caused by labours、overtime hours and gain the advantage. The production cycle time indicated the enterprise response speed to the market demand, which affected the attitude of customers to the company, made the enterprise to reduce costs and management costs, and increased profit. Therefore, reducing cycle time for each PCB factory must be considered for the important issue. Base on this situation, this paper focus on reducing the production cycle time of the H company as the research topic, using multiple theories of the operation and management such as lean production,time studyjust-in-time etc. to study this problem in detail.Fist we use the working flow chart to analise the whole works and devide the work as two parts:the Engineer part and the Manufacture part,and then analyse the two parts respectibely. In the Engineer part we use the theory of Standardization and Concurrent engineer to analyse the time of the whole engineer;In the Manufacture part we use the theory of Standardization and Time study,Lean production to analyse the time of themanufacture.And we get the shortest theoretical production time.Then we compare the actural productiion time with it and find the shortage in the production,and achive the goal to shorten production circle time...
