As society is entered into an information resources era, information technology is widelyapplied to learning areas. With the renewal periods of knowledge has been shortened,company must apply effective employee training to enhance staff quality and adapt to therapid changes of competition environment. The traditional face-to-face training mode cannotmeet the training requirement under the enterprise information trend. E-learning, the newlearning pattern is accepted and applied to employee training by more and more domestic andinternational enterprise, because of the characteristics of low cost for training, fast speed forspreading and personalized requirement.At present, the research about E-learning at home and abroad is still focus on educationand training area on large and medium enterprises. There is no proof if E-learning applies totechnology intensive multinational enterprise. In order to find the effective training pattern fortechnology intensive multinational enterprise, this paper try to demonstrate E-learningworking for technology intensive multinational enterprise and gaining benefit from it by anexample of Foreign-Owned Enterprise A. At the same time, there are some problems occurredbecause the deficiencies of E-learning and misunderstanding or improper operation during theimplementation process by company, such as learning’s interest reduced by lackinginterpersonal communication, learning’s motivation reduced by lacking encouragement,training effect reduced by lacking immediate response and follow-up after training. Based onthe above problems, this paper propose some countermeasures to solve these problems, suchas building a virtual learning community to increase interpersonal communication, improvingincentive system to inspire employee learning interests, carrying out consultant type trainingto improve training quality, carrying out training score card to achieve E-learning’squantitative management.
