Proceeding from the knowledge economy, competence in enterprises is presented as it in employees' quality and studying skill. The human resources is the most important in enterprises, and training has become the basic method in developing HR. In variable training ways some traditional or face to face methods have lots of weakness such as expending resources, requesting employees for out-of-job, slowly renewing in training content and hard to follow the track of training so that it can't satisfy with the of employees' training in 21 century and adapted to the change in competence circumstance. On the other hand, developing with the modern communication techniqueand network technique, a new method about employees' training-training on line orE-learning has come into use.As an advanced learning and teaching management method, it can economize the learning cost, shorten the learning time and heighten an effect, it can also track and control the learning process and result. So it can efficiently cover the shortage of training in classrooms, it has become a new trend in enterprise's training.Estimated by IDC, E-learning has been growing by 80% every year, occupying 30% of the total training. However traditional training in classrooms has decreased from 80% to 60%, which $6.3bn in 2001, $11.5bn in 2003, global market in E-Learning will reach $23bn in 2004. Predicted by ASTD (American Society of Training and Developing), 90% of the companies with more than 500 employees will train their employees based on E-Learning.The paper enunciates the value and problems on training, discusses the developing, forms and advantages of on-line training, then explores the construction and system on E-Learning in enterprise. Finally, it analysis the application in various enterprises. Chapter 3 and 4 are the priority of all the five sections.
