The Use Of Port System In Harbor Logistics System

Harbor logistics is a comprehensive logistics system under the special patter. It plays an irreplaceable and important role during the logistics process and completes the basic logistics services and deuterogenic appreciation services in the whole supply chain of logistics system. The port system is a kind of communication and transportation system to connect the harbors with each other and mainly provide the service about gathering and evacuating goods. It is composed of railway, highway, urban roads and the relevant transfer station. It is a bridge to connect the inland and the harbors, and it creates the conditions for the existence and strenthing of ports.Zhejiang is a big ocean province covered with260thousand square kilometers ocean, and6910km coastline which is considered as No.1in our China. It lies on the T-shaped joint of Yangtze River Delta and coastal economic belts, so it has the conditions giftly to develop the ocean economy. In February of2011the State Council authorize project of ocean economy development demonstration region in Zhejiang which marks that ocean economy in Zhejiang has been raised up as a national strategy. Zhejiang Province is equipped with well facilities and foundation of port, and has the advancement of inland economy development. At the same time it has the precondition and resource ensurence of harbour logistics developing.This paper first states the concept of harbour logistics, basic factors, some founctions of port system, and some important definitions, and then analyze the current situation and learn the experience of domestic and overseas port development. It will mainly analyze the development advancement of Zhejiang seaand port system, the real founcition and the problems through calcuate throughput of harbours in Zhejiang Province, goods current direction, development potential, economic aggregate. And it will put forward some suggestions on analysis of current and planed port transportation and the port ability.
