Eliminating poverty is notonly the large issue that handicaps the economy development, but also the biggestobstacle that blocks on the road of our harmonious society building. And for historical reason,reality condition as well as development imbalance, economy backwardness, publicservice facilities and public service source deficiency in rural area in Guangzhou cityhaven’t changed fundamentally,especially the mountains areas.Meanwhile, insufficiencyof domestic demand,imperfection of infrastructure projects makes the town and ruralarea indistinct which means they don’t have their own characteristics. As a result, nomatter compare with the neighbor city, or the material and cultural need of the people inrural area, or the expectation to live a better life, these areas still lack behind a lot,which has influenced the process of accelerating transition and building a blissfulGuangzhou.So the thesis aims at finding out the problem and the causes of the povertyalleviation in northern mountain area of Guangzhou,and then set up the rural povertyalleviation object in northern mountain areas of Guangzhou, as well as its workpattern.This is not only meet the requirement of enhancing effectiveness of the povertyalleviation and development, but also adapt the development in new period, andeventually will contribute to the development of all programs in Guangzhou, as well asthe key city of the nation and blissful Guangzhou development.In view of this, centers on the topic Study the Poverty Alleviation in NorthernMountain Area of Guangzhou, the thesis is consist of the following four parts. First, mainly illustrate the background, meaning and method for the research, analyze currentstatus of the poverty alleviation at home and abroad, figure out the basic concepts andthe study method of this thesis.Second,introduce Guangzhou poverty alleviation historyand the basic information of its rural area, the advance experience at home andabroad,focus on the research design of the poverty alleviation in northern mountain areaof Guangzhou,set up the research aim and hypothesis, define the research object andits methods.Third,introduce and study the current status of the poverty alleviation innorthern mountain area of Guangzhou, make a comparison with research hypothesis andfind out the problem.Fourth, sum up the thesis and make some proposals on how toimprove the effectiveness of the poverty alleviation.
