With the deepening reform for Chinese electric power system, the pattern of the domestic seller’s market has been broken. Meanwhile, by continuous development recent years, the scope of the electricity market not only expand in the geographic sense, but also in the sense of business scope. Reform of the provincial electric power companies and the restructuring of municipal electric power companies are pushing the regional power company to a new position. Regional electricity supply companies, under current market, must be combined the modern marketing concept with operation, management and the advanced market analysis tools or methods used to make market research and formulate scientific and rational business strategy for the operation and management activities in future so that it can maintain the core competitiveness.The internal resources and external business environment of the Xingtai electricity supply company are studied based on the marketing theory for electricity power and theoretical analysis and empirical analysis in the thesis. Then a thorough analysis of current marketing environment of Xingtai Electricity Power Company is carried out by using the marketing strategy theory to reveal some marketing problems. Further more, the main business strategies and specific marketing strategies for the Xingtai Electricity Power Company are developed by SWOT matrix analysis in the thesis.In this paper, the evaluation index system for marketing strategy is built and the entropy information method was selected to evaluate the effect of marketing strategies carried out by the Xingtai Electricity Power Company. To ensure the implement of the specific marketing strategies, the protection measures are planned so that this theoretical research combined with empirical analysis could guide marketing activities for the Xingtai Electricity Power Company.
