Study On Status And Strategies Of Agriculture Informationization In AnHui Province

Along with rapid development and wide application of information technology, social economy is gradually climbed up as a key factor in promoting world economy and social development, being a new symbol to human progress. As a developing country in the face of global informationization, information industry has independently become a key industry; China has made active reaction with bringing reward country economy informationization strategy, while agriculture has also received high recognition as one part of it. Agriculture is the precondition of social life and development, as well as foundation to development of other industries. Modern information technology which is filtering into agriculture will enhance agricultural production technology and scientific management level basically, and reconstruct traditional agriculture, finally, technology content of agro-products and overall benefit of agriculture are increased.China is a large agricultural nation with rural population of900million, covering70%of total population, while agricultural production value accounting for20%of GDP. The height of agricultural informationization level directly relates to the overall level of national informationization level and the level of national agricultural production and development. Then, how high is the level of agricultural informationization of Anhui province? What problems do they have during the construction of Anhui agricultural informationization and how to solve them? This thesis will make elementary discussion on this matter.In the theory discussion part this thesis uses theory of information economics combined with other related technology theory. Research on agricultural informationization is on the base of information economics. Information economics uses basic concepts and tools such as supply, demand, cost, benefit and etc to analyze characteristics of information service, study problems of operations of information market, and measure cost and benefit of information service, being a guide to information management and information service.The demonstration part of the thesis makes uses of field survey data of Anhui province and makes analysis of the situation of farmers’receiving the information service within the province. It mainly uses the descriptive statistics analysis method to analyze key related factors for farmers to receive information service such as per capita income, per capita cultivated area, gender, age, education level, etc. According to the survey data, related statistics analysis is conducted; conclusions are obtained and the problems are pointed out.At the end of this thesis, primary conclusion is obtained according to the results of theory discussion and demonstration analysis, and related policies and suggestions are raised. Anhui rural information service work has achieved great achievement, while some common problems still exists such as shortage on capital and talents, lagging technology method, insufficient information content, service quality of information service and unbalance of information service in different areas. To strengthen management, enhance consciousness, apply for more advanced technology and make plan and layout will be main guarantees for the development of future agricultural informationization.Therefore, the thesis points out in the suggestion that entering the21st century, agriculture of Anhui has come to a new historical development phase and informationization will be main characteristic of agricultural production. In the process of adjustment and optimization of agricultural production and rural economy structure, transformation from quantity-type to quality-type on agricultural production, and transformation from extensive to intensive management of agricultural growth, especially in the face of challenges and competitions after entering the WTO, information technology is urgently required. Building technology service to agriculture, rural area and rural people on informationization platform and stimulating agricultural informationization and hi-technology has important strategic significance in reconstructing traditional agriculture and accelerating economy development of rural area. Thus, implementing Anhui agricultural informationization technology and accelerate agricultural informationization course is not only an important task for provincial technology circle, but also a strategic choice for Anhui province to accelerate to implement agricultural informationization.
