The Russian Transition Peirod Of Science Of Science Research

Russia is a country with excellent scientific tradition. Since the late1980s,(especially since the early1990s), there has been a sharp decline in productivityin all the areas of Russia and the countries of the CIS. Therefore, there is asignificant reduction in the demand for knowledge innovation and the promisingindustrial technology. Naturally it is reflected in the status and situation of thesocial science. On the other hand, the traditional management system of thenational science is declining and disintegrating rapidly. From the late1980s tothe early1990s, the developing pace of the studies of the science of science was,from my point of view, severely affected by the Russian academic crisis.The studies of the science of science almost collapsed. A lot of laboratoriesand research offices of scientific research centers were forced to close, and manyscholars no longer studied the science of science. More and more academicinstitutions were affected by the crisis, and all these took place under thebackground of the dynamic development of the advanced Western nationalscience of science.On the basis of comparing and analyzing the relevant references, the thesisdiscusses the emergence of the “science of science”, the influence of the Russiantransitional period on the scientific research institutions, and the new changes of“the sciences of science” in the transitional period, analyzing the reasons for thestagnation of development of “the sciences of science”, as well as the formationof the reflection theory of “the sciences of science” in Russia, and the futuredirection of development of the Russian sciences of science.This thesis believes that studying the development of “the sciences ofscience” in the transitional period will not only enlarge our understanding ofRussian science of science, but also enrich the theories of the sciences of science.We should be aware that Russia has the talent advantage, the academic advantage,and industrial foundation. After a decade of painful exploration, it has improvedits policy and is trying to explore the road of reviving the economy through science and technology. As soon as their policies, ideas and principles can beadjusted to the correct track, the rise of this country is not fantasy. Therefore, it isof great importance to study the dynamic development of the Russian scientifictheory and the technological policies.
