Research On Inventory Management And Cost Accounting Of Auto Parts Enterprise D Company Under JIT Management Mode

Since2001, China joined the WTO, auto industry has a greatlygrowth. By2011, China has three consecutive years achieving leadingmarket among global automotive production and sales, the automotiveindustry has become a pillar industry of Chinese national economy. Atthe same time, the auto parts industry, along with the development ofautomobile industry, some leading auto parts enterprises establishedstrategic relationship with OEMs, a large number of auto parts enterprisesare gradually develop more efficient management model, exploring theuse of advanced management systems and processes to optimize theoperation and management of all aspects of the process, along with the use of real-time mode, JIT also become the choice of these auto partsenterprises.JIT changing management in all aspect, from order management toprocurement of materials, from production planning to process design,logistics to quality control, from production to inventory management,staff training to financial accounting, throughout the production andoperation always. This article focus on JIT and inventory managementstandpoint, we believe, inventory management mode and JIT productioninfluence each other, reinforce each other.This paper studies the production of automotive wiring harnessenterprises Company D on its JIT system and inventory managementmode. Describing in detailed the necessity of the JIT production and theeffect of inventory management. according to the practice of D company,JIT resulting in a very obvious benefits. And the inventory managementunder JIT model is more successful and bring a lot of learning experiencefor other auto parts manufacturers. JIT is the never-ending pursuit on lean manufacturing andcontinuously improvement. Along with social development andimprovement in the mode of production, Company D as therepresentative of auto parts enterprises still have much room forimprovement in the JIT and inventory management, Some points wasproposed in this article on inventory accounting to provide more effectiveinformation support, so that the application of JIT to achieve a moreperfect effect.
