East AviationCompany is an important large state-owned aviation manufacturer. With thedevelopment of our economy and the improvement of our national strength, there isan increasingly great need for the development of aviation industry, which meansboth a great opportunity for the development of East Aviation Company as well as achallenge for its capacity of production. The features of the parts production inaviation manufacturing enterprises include discreteness, multiple products, limitedquantities, complex production process, and large ratio of demand and productioncapacity. East Aviation Company is faced with the problems of how to optimize themanagement of parts production to tap the internal potential to the full, how to applyinformation technology to break the fixed thinking patterns, improve management,innovate, improve and uplift production so that the work efficiency can be improved.The management of parts production includes planning, organizing andcontrolling production and operation, and it means the allocation of productionresources such as labor, equipment and materials etc. to ensure the smooth partsproduction. Researching and studying the management methods for parts productionand continually optimizing the procedures for production and operation are theeffective ways for East Aviation Company to meet the challenge of productioncapability, achieve balanced production and leapfrog development and meet thedelivery requirements for aviation equipment.East Aviation Company is a state-owned enterprise that was founded over sixtyyears ago and has been engaging in the manufacture of aircrafts. Because of thespecial nature of its products, during the history of over sixty years’ development,East Aviation Company enjoys the excellent cultural heritage from the history and meanwhile is faced with problems that affect and restrain the development of theenterprise. In the21st century, the domestic aviation manufacturing enterprises allhave great opportunities for development. How to deliver qualified aviationequipment as required and in time is the necessary condition for seizing theopportunities for development and parts production is the condition and basis of “asrequired, in time and qualified”. At present, during the process of production in EastAviation Company, there are some problems that can affect the efficiency of partsproduction, such as coarse planning management, extensive evaluation on norm ofworking hour, poor logistics management, inadequate monitoring on the evaluation ofstaff, delayed handling of problems on technical quality and the insufficientcoordination between different departments etc.In accordance with the present situation of parts production in East AviationCompany and aiming at the problems that affect the efficiency of production, thispaper suggests a set of methods to improve the present production and managementmodes by studying the present management modes for the production parts withinformation technology. The paper first introduces the background of this project, theobjectives and meaning of the study, and the ideas and contents of the study. Then asystematic analysis is made on the present management methods for parts productionin East Aviation Company. Focusing on the main conflicts that affect the efficiency ofpart production, new management modes for parts production are proposed as well asthe construction plans. Besides, a workshop of machine-made parts in East AviationCompany is taken as an example to explore on the foundation and application of themanagement system for parts production, which is based on bar code technology, soas to improve the production and operation management of parts, improve theefficiency of parts production and provide experience for improving the managementmodes for parts production in East Aviation Company. |
