Case Study On R&D Program Organizational Management Of Company X Dalian Laboratory

R&D cooperation is one of the important ways to acquire new technology for companies. It plays a key role to help the companies improve their technical ability. In many forms of cooperation on research and development, the cooperation between companies and research institutes is quite common. Under this kind of cooperation, how to deal solve the internal and external managerial problems influence the cooperation running smoothly.The companies are generally the provider of the funds, and to screen, assess and monitor the projects based on their own needs. Scientific research institutes are specific implementers of R&D work. In the whole cooperation process, companies will not only face the external problems but also have to solve problems within the organization.Adopting the method of case study, the paper firstly introduced the background of the cooperation between Company X and Dalian AB Research Institute. The management problems within the two bosses’duty period were descripted in the case. Then by using the relevant management theories for deeply analysis, the author intend to find out the reasons casing those problems. Finally, the author put forward the corresponding countermeasure and the suggestion in view of the problems happed on X company Dalian Lab, which is taking effective measures to fully arouse the motivations externally and externally and improving the project control system.The real case of the R&D cooperation between multinational company and domestic well-known research institute has certain representativeness that it could not only give advice to Company X but also can provide reference for other companies.
