A Software Development Project Quality Prediction Model Based On Outsourcing Of Design And Implementation

The software outsourcing has some history home and abroad but it is still a comparatively new industry. Currently the world’s management level of software outsourcing industry varies in a wide range. The importance of the delivered software’s quality isn’t paid much attention, especially the quality assurance processes for quantitative management. The general quality anticipation model for outsourcing projects is rare. The main reason is that most development project of this kind can’t cover the whole project life cycle. They are only limited within the low level development such as Q&A, coding and unit testing phases. However, the existing management models are applicable for integrated development projects covering all phases of the select life cycle and they are not suitable for the outsourcing projects.This paper uses the actual development project (SAP-EAI) in the outsourcing company with the background of the special position in the software industry chain the company located. It starts from the Development Center’s attention and business goal. It studies the quality problems of the software development outsourcing project using the methods of quantitative project management. It set up a quality anticipation model:1. It proposes to use control chart to monitor the process for the project process stability problem, which is intuitionistic and accurate.2. It proposes the anticipation before issue happens and sets up the quality anticipation model, which make up the lost for the afterwards actions of the quality problems, the rearview mirror like quality control method.
