Research On Development Of Enterprise Annuity In Anhui Province

Enterprise annuity is an important pillar of social security system, and a crucial supplement to social pension insurance. Enterprise annuity can effectively alleviate the cash-paying burden of basic pension insurance, and improve the living standards of retired staff, so as to enhance the initiative of current staff, strengthen corporate cohesiveness and competitiveness, and promote the development of financial market.Since the first establishment of enterprise annuity plan by a company based in Anhui province in2006, enterprise annuity has not only contributed a lot to improving social old-age security system, but attracted a bunch of high-quality and high-skilled talents, which played an irreplaceable role in speeding up the rise of Anhui province, and is well acknowledged by more and more government agencies, enterprises, workers and financial institutions. Along with the rapid development of enterprise annuity in Anhui province, some concurrent and potential crises start to emerge, some of which have even become the serious bottleneck impacting on the smooth development of enterprise annuity.This thesis starts from the status quo and theoretic basis of current research on enterprise annuity, and, on the basis of recent practices of enterprise annuity, uses such methodologies as literature review, comparative methods, combined methods of quantitative and qualitative analyses, and etc. to conduct in-depth analyses of the reasons of slow progress of enterprise annuity in Anhui province, and puts forward feasible solutions in response to problems.Specifically speaking, the first chapter introduces the objectives and implications of this research. The second chapter provides an overview of enterprise annuity, and focuses on presenting the concept and characteristics of collective plan of enterprise annuity. The third chapter not only analyzes the development process but maps out the prospects of enterprise annuity in Anhui Province. The fourth chapter delves deep into the problems of enterprise annuity. The fifth chapter is the most important part of the whole thesis in terms of solving problems. On the general level of development strategy and model, it’s recommended to adopt the collective plan of enterprise annuity, which is suited to the current development situation of Anhui Province and has the potential to get a large amount of small-and-medium-sized enterprises involved into the collective plan. When it comes to specific policy measures, the author proposes feasible solutions to those problems which the author analyzed in above four chapters.
