Study On The Consumption Of Urban Residents In Fujian Province

Firstly, the writer took Fujian as research object to describe the current situation of urban residents’consumption. Secondly, a basic analysis of Fujian urban residents’ consumption was given from aspects of economic factors, consumer atmosphere factors, market environment, and policy support and so on. Thirdly, ranking selection model is used combined with practical investigation to give an analysis of influencing factors of Fujian urban residents’ consumption. Finally, the writer set forth some countermeasures for stimulating the consumption of urban residents.The conclusions of this paper could be listed as below.(1) Current consumption structure of urban households in Fujian Province mainly consists of food and similar items which help to improve material life. It is still necessary to develop consumer consumption which aims at development and enjoyment direction.(2) Important influencing factors of Fujian urban residents’consumption mainly include children education and household member. The families with higher income level tend to have low consumption desire. Those families with more members, higher educational background have relatively lower consumption desire.(3) The government should pay full attention to the strategic significance of the expansion of consumption and do effective efforts to improve the level of income of urban residents and reduce the income gap. At the same time, domestic enterprises should establish good market environment and apply marketing actives which are taking consumers as core.
