Study On The Dynamic Changes Of Construction Land In Urumqi

It is the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization that leads urban construction land to expand rapidly, which caused the population, resources and environment problems becoming more extrusive. In order to solve the global environment changes and the domain of sustainable development of major issues, land use/(LUCC) cover changes and analysis of driving force became the global research hot spot. In-depth analysis of construction land use change mechanism, helping to grasp the construction land use change rule, to predict the future construction land use change trend, and to formulate the reasonable construction land utilization countermeasures.This paper chose Urumqi as the typical region to do deep and systematic research, mainly analyzed the current situation, problems and change characteristics of construction land use of urumqi, revealed the specific interactions between driving factors and the construction land changes, and targeted to put forward countermeasures and suggestiones of rational utilization for urumqi city construction land, hoping to provide experience and reference for future relevant research.The results of the study show that:from2002to2010, the total amount of construction land in urumqi presents a increase trend, the largest increase is the land for traffic, but town, village and industrial land owns the largest number growth; the construction land expansion speed presents a "gently-speed up-gently-quickly-gently" fluctuation change; in recent years, the intensive utilization level of construction land use is improving; there’s a big negative correlation between the construction land expansion and the cultivated land reduction; population, industrial structure, economic construction, and consumption level become the main driving factors which influence construction land to increase. In addition, we should increase construction land input and output so as to improve the construction land intensive use level; we should rationally adjust the construction land use structure and scientifically plan construction land layout; we should control the construction land expansion rate and make full use of stock construction land; we should strengthen farmland protection and reduce the cultivated land occupied by construction land and finally achieve the sustainable development of urumqi economic, social and ecological environment.
