In the development and expanding process of any modern enterprise, human resources are playing an increasingly important role. To effectively use and manage human resources can lay a good human resource foundation for the development and growth of enterprises. Motivation is an important aspect in the human resources management, through effective motivation tools and methodologies, the enterprise can maximize employee productivity, and also reduce employee turnover, this is absolutely necessary in the process of development and growth of enterprises. Therefore, a good motivation system will have an significant influence and impact on business growth.In this paper, the Yunnan Institute of Materia Medica, as the object of study. Using of the interviewing method, the combination research methods of specification analysis and empirical analysis to describe problems and causes of the existing salary system in YIMM, and also analyze the following main reasons:Salary philosophy is out of date, the existing salary system is chaotic and lack of flexibility, only single channel to rising salary, salary adjustment lack of reasonable reason, and also neglect the non-economic compensation; Finally proposes the salary system restructuring countermeasure. Through study on this paper, constructs a suitable salary system for Yunnan Institute of Materia Medica.
