The Research On Coordinative Development Between Ecological Environment And Economy In Jiangsu Province

With the continuously development of economy and society, it is a tough task forJiangsu province to keep a vigorous economy development and well ecologicalenvironment protection in a meantime. While the coordinated development in ecologicalenvironment and economy can be good to solve the kind of problem. Because it is adevelopment that can make a good balance in economic growth and ecologicaldevelopment protection. Therefore, it is of great importance to research about thecoordinated development in ecological environment and economy system in Jiangsuprovince, which has more practical significance and provides a reference to theconstruction of green Jiangsu and ecological province.This paper contains six parts. The first part is the introduction, which brieflyintroduces the background, significance, research status at home and abroad. The secondpart chiefly introduces the basic theory involved in subsequent research. Firstly this partdefines the basic concept and scope of the coordinated development between ecologicalenvironment and economy, which is the entry point of research. Then briefly introducesthe theory involved in research of coordinated development in ecological environment andeconomy system, which is the starting point of the thesis, is the theoretical foundation andalso the theoretical basis to support the empirical study in latter part of paper. Thefollowing part analyzes the status of the ecological environment and social economicdevelopment in Jiangsu Province. In this part, a status about the ecological environmentand social economic development in Jiangsu Province and the efforts that Jiangsuprovince has made to coordinate the ecological environment and the economy wasobjectively analyzed. The fourth part focuses on the Kuznets curve empirical analysis onthe relationship between economic growth and environmental pollution in JiangsuProvince. By using the EKC hypothesis, the paper not only describes the characteristics ofthe relationship between environmental quality variation and economic growth in JiangsuProvince, but also depicts the development trend, so that we can fully understand internalrelations between ecological environment and economic growth in Jiangsu province. Thefifth part mainly evaluates the ecological environment and economy system’s coordinateddevelopment level of Jiangsu Province, which is the core research in this paper.Based onusing the mathematical model to calculate the coordinated degree and coordinateddevelopment degree, the paper analyzes the coordinated relationship between ecologicalenvironment and economy in Jiangsu Province from the year1990to2010. Meanwhile,the method is also applied to the13provincial cities of Jiangsu province and differentcoordinated situations were analyzed in the end. The sixth part is the regional differenceresearch of Jiangsu Province, which is the result of the paper. The article find the mainreason that affect the regional level of coordinated development in ecological environment and economy system. After combining these reasons, some relevant suggestions forregional coordinated development of Jiangsu was provided.Since the regional difference research of Jiangsu province is based on thecomprehensive evaluation of the level of coordinated development in ecologicalenvironment and economy system, and the cause analysis and countermeasuressuggestions are of great reference to promote the construction of the resource-saving andenvironment-friendly society in Jiangsu province.
