Research On Evaluating Technological Innovation Of Smes From A Cognitive Perspective

With the globalization of the economy and the rapid development of the knowledge economy, small and medium enterprises(SMEs) in China are facing more and more opportunities and challenges. In order to strive for the development, SMEs must continue to innovate. Through the implementation of technological innovation, they can maintain sustainable competitive advantage and enhance core competitiveness, and then to improve the economic efficiency of enterprises. The success of technological innovation is mainly reflected in the performance. Hicks pointed out that "Innovation makes a effect through the profit rate", so that innovation with no performance is unsuccessful innovation. However, the same input is not absolute mean the same output, especially that the innovation resources is very limited for SMEs. Therefore, in the case of limited resources, SMEs on the one hand must give full play to the efficiency of utilization of human and financial resources, on the other hand need to evaluate innovation performance and find out its great impact of the link to improve innovation performance.In this paper, we observe enterprise technology innovation activities based on the theoretical research of SMEs technology innovation activities and process link from a cognitive perspective, and then understand deeply the process of enterprise technological innovation activities and the relationship between each element of the process. On this basis, we can model the technological innovation performance evaluation of SMEs from a cognitive perspective combined with the characteristics of the SMEs. Next, we make an empirical investigation and analysis, and with the empirical analysis results we put forward some suggestions to improve the SMEs technology innovation performance. The final results will show that the technological innovation performance evaluation of SMEs in this paper has effective effect and application value.In this paper, we do some research on technological innovation performance evaluation. On the one hand, the research can make effectively evaluation and interpretation on the current situation of SMEs technological innovation in order to convenient enterprises select suitable development strategy. On the other hand, it can also help SMEs’leaders work out more scientific and more reasonable decisions and provide a scientific and reasonable guiding to explore the effective allocation and utilization approach of SMEs technology innovation resources.
