| The poverty is a global issue. If this problem is not solved, none of the objectives given by nations in the world such as peace, stability, social equality... can be managed. In recent years, thanks to innovation policy, the economy of Vietnam has been growing increasingly and most people’s life is improved dramatically. Besides, the gap between rich and poor is expressed markedly.There are many things resulting in poverty. However, according to the result of investigations, one of the major causes of this status is that the poor lack of knowledge and skills. Therefore, the poverty reduction program of country purpose in the period of2006-2-10, project of vocational training, one of projects of this program, helped the poor have opportunities to enhance their skills, join in labour market, increase the income and improve their life.Dong Nai is one of the highest annual GDP per person provinces in the country, but there are still many of the poor (at the beginning of2011, this province has42,520poor households which take the rate of6.62%in comparison with sum of people here). According to investigated result of poor households in the early stage (2011-2015), a number of the poor within working-age are107.665persons, but in which there are only4797skilled labours. Therefore, the party and the authority of the province pay great attention to vocational training problem for the poor, and consider it one of the leading solutions to help the poor go out of the poverty stably.Through finding out the fact of the vocational training for the poor in Dong Nai province, the weakness and strength of this problem today are evaluated. Since then, the way to enhance the quality of the vocational training for the poor is given, which supports the poor to learn necessary skills to have assured jobs, increase incomes and leave the poverty.
