In the past two decades, along with the global economic integration, there emerged plenty of international new ventures. But they are usually faced with the scarceness of internal resources and the turbulence of external environment, as well as many other difficulties. How to choose and integrate strategic orientations, including entrepreneurial orientation, marketing orientation and technical orientation, and enhance corporate performance through promoting international learning, has become an important strategic problem for international new ventures. The current research of strategic orientations lack the ones on international new ventures, and research of international new ventures has excluded strategic orientations as influcial factors, and both of them lack empirical research.This paper attempted to conduct research on the topic of " How do strategic orientations influence the performance of international new ventures?" and answer the following questions step by step:1、What are the strategic orientations for international new ventures?2、How do these strategic orientations influence the performance of international new ventures?3、How does the ambidexterity of strategic orientations influence the performance of international new ventures?4、How does international learning function as the mediator between strategic orientatios and performance?To answer the questions above, firstly this paper summaried the existed research on strategic orientations, international new ventures.international learning etc. Along with the interview&case studies, the paper came up with the theoretical framework and hypothesis. Then empirical research, this paper has come to the following conclusions:There are three strategic orintations for international new ventures, they are entrepreneurial orientation, marketing orientation and technical orientation. Etrepreneurial orientation and technical orientation have positive effects on performance of international new ventures. But marketing orientation has no significant effects on performance of international new ventures.Both jiont ambidexterity and matched ambidexterity of entrepreneurial orientation and marketing orientation have positive effects on performance of international new ventures. Both jiont ambidexterity and matched ambidexterity of the entrepreneurial orientation and technical orientation have negative effects on performance of international new ventures. The matched ambidexterity of the marketing orientation and technical orientation has positive effects on performance, butjiont ambidexterity of them has no significant effects on performance of international new ventures. International learning can be the mediator between etrepreneurial orientation and the performance of the international new ventures, as well as the mediator between technical orientation and the performance of the international new ventures. But it can not be the mediator between marketing orientation and the performance of the international new ventures.This paper tried to look deep into how strategic orientations influence the performance of international new ventures, then to expand and fufil the research of strategic orientations and international new ventures. It salso tried to offer advice for international new ventures on choosing and cultivating of strategic orientations, valuing international learning and coordinating it with strategic orientations, so to obtain long-term development in the fierce competition.
