Along with the rising of entrepreneurial economy and development of global economic integration, International new ventures (INVs) are gradually emerging and becoming an important driving force for the development of world economy. A notable feature for International new ventures (INVs) is that they choose to enter into global market at their early stage of life cycle to pursue international opportunities. However, there is notable interest remained in the international entrepreneurship literature that how International new ventures (INVs) avoid the liabilities of newness and foreignness in order to achieve success and development from early internationalization. Based on the study of Learning Advantage of Newness (LAN) theory, this paper studied the effect of international learning on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of International new ventures (INVs).In particular, international learning in this paper is a multi-facet concept and can be discussed from the angle of speed, scope and depth. It is worthwhile to conduct deep research into the different roles that the speed of international learning, the scope of international learning and the depth of international learning played in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of International new ventures (INVs).To answer the questions above, firstly, the paper conducted the literature review on International new venture (INVs), Entrepreneurial Orientation and International Learning and came up with a rough theorectical framwork. Secondly, Based on a case study, this paper came up with the final theoretical framework and hypothesis. Last but not least, by empirical research and hypothesis testing based on156international new venture samples conducted in China, this paper reached the conclusions:first, the scope of international learning doesn’t play a mediating effect between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of sample enterprises; second, the speed of international learning plays a mediating effect between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of sample enterprises; third, the depth of international learning plays a mediating effect between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of sample enterprises.Theoretically, this paper made the following contributions:first, it have richened the research on the influencing mechanisms between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of International new ventures (INVs); second, it innovatively divided international learning into three dimensions-the scope of international learning, the speed of international learning and the depth of international learning-and empirically tested the different mediating effects of the three dimensions on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and the performance of International new ventures (INVs). Practically, this paper brought INVs the awareness of multiple dimensions of international learning, which provided basis for choosing the right way of international learning in the fierce international competition.
