Study In Strategies For Low-carbon Economy Development Of Southwest Oil&Gas Field Company

As a kind of clean energies and high quality chemical raw materials, comparedwith coal, oil and other traditional energies, natural gas has obvious advantages becauseit’s cleaner, more economic, substitutable and convenience and extensive use. Atpresent, with low carbon economy development being the trend of the times, Chineseoil companies have begun to grope for low carbon development way.Aiming at the above-mentioned problems, taking Southwest Oil and GasfieldCompany as an example, based on analysis of current domestic and foreign oilcompanies low carbon development status, this paper carried out thorough discussionsand researches on low carbon economic development strategy in Southwest Oil andGasfield Company, with conclusions as follows:1. By Analyzing external environment for developing low carbon economy inSouthwest Oil and Gasfield Company, it shows that low carbon economy developmentwould be an opportunity and challenge as well for this company. Low carbontechnology remains to be strengthened and task of achieving economic development oflow carbon economy is still a heavy responsibility for the company.2. By Analyzing advantages and disadvantages for developing low carboneconomy in the company, it shows that the main advantages are rich natural gasresources, solid foundation of low carbon development resources, steady developmentof energy saving technology related to natural gas production; The main disadvantagesare lower energy utilization efficiency and higher equipment energy consumption, lackof low carbon key technology which restricts low carbon development and weakerconsciousness of company personnel on low carbon development idea.3. The overall thought and basic principle on company’s low carbon developmentstrategy are formed. Meanwhile, the company’s low carbon development mode basedon sustainable development is set up, including natural gas resources production supplysystem, natural gas utilization system, low carbon development benefit system and low carbon development support system.4. Combined with the company’s business characteristics, it puts forward thecompany low carbon economic development strategy and related supporting measures.
