It is important to develop the modem tourism for promoting economic developmentand upgrading industrial structure, the development of modern tourism makes acontribution to the rise of liaoning economy, but there are still a lot of problems with thedevelopment of the modem tourism of liaoning province.The paper analyzes the influencefactors of modern tourism competitiveness,uses factor analysis to evaluate the moderntourism competitiveness of liaoning province, on this basis, put forward with thecountermeasure of promoting liaoning province modem tourism competitiveness. Thispaper mainly consists three sections.The first part of this paper is theoretical part. Mainly includes the first chapter and thesecond chapter. The first chapter mainly discusses the research background, significance,research methods and technical route for the content,at the same time,summarize theresearch status of modern tourism competitiveness at home and abroad. The secondchapter reviews the related basic theory of modern tourism competitivenesspower,including competitive advantage theory, regional economics theory, the theory ofcomparative advantage, sustainable development theory.The second part describes the key. This section includes the third chapter and thefourth chapter. On the basic of first two chapters, the third chapter analysis the influencefactors of modern tourism competitiveness power, selects the factor analysis method fromall kinds of the analysis methods,and provides the basis for setting up modern tourismcompetitiveness power evaluation model.This section includes chapter5, chapter6.On the basis of the second part, the thirdpart computes tourism competitiveness power index data from the statistical yearbook2009in31provinces and cities in China, and by using the factor analysis method, with theaid of statistical analysis software SPSS16.0of31provinces and cities in the tourismcompetitiveness evaluation index analysis, extracts public factor, and get the scores of theprovinces and cities of modern tourism competitiveness power,then compare and analyzethe scores in the public factor and total score in different provinces and cities, finally according to the evaluation results of modern tourism competitiveness power,makesuggestions for promoting competitiveness in liaoning province.
