Study On Competitive And Complementary Between China And Asean In Mechanical And Electrical Industry

China and ASEAN have expedited the steps of regional economy cooperation inrecent years．In Jan.1of2010，CAFTA set up officially，and that the economiccooperation in the two regions had entered in to a new development period．Mechanical and electrical industry plays a very important role in China andASEAN，and also is the main part of CAFTA．Both China and ASEAN are thecountries of rich natural resources and labors with the basically same developingsteps，which decides that there is competition of mechanical and electrical products’expert to the third market in the both countries．Compared with ASEAN，what about the competitiveness and complemetarity ofChina’s mechanical and electrical products is? The problem becomes more and moreimportant with the coming construction of CAFTA．The mechanical and electricaltrade will be affected greatly and develop quickly with the CAFTA．During thisspecial time，to analysize the structure of the mechanical and electrical trade of Chinaand ASEAN is a very pressing issue，so as to find a way to improve our exports ofmechanical and electrical products to ASEAN market，and this is also the significanceof my research．In this research，the writer firstly analyzed the status and characteristic ofmechanical and electrical products’trade in China and ASEAN，and made up a theoryand index system of competitiveness and complementarity，then on such conditionanalyzed the competitiveness and complementarity of agricultural products’trade inChina and ASEAN， and subsequently analyzed the factors of affecting Chinese export of mechanical and electrical products to ASEAN market，and the effect ofsetting up CAFTA，lastly the writer issued some suggestions for China to expand theASEAN mechanical and electrical market．The result of research indicates that there is the competition of mechanical andelectrical trade between China and ASEAN，however,the product category ofcomplementary is more than that of competition．With the construction of CAFTA，the mutual mechanical and electrical trade between China and ASEAN will beenlarged，but increase scale will be restricted by the factor of culture and so on．...
