| With trend of the market globalization, economic regionalization and operation transnationalization increasing, market competition has become more and more intense. In the new market environment, mass customization has been applied to a lot of domestic and foreign enterprises. The the clothing industry, known as a high demand of preferences industry, in which mass customization has the full market potential. Compared to the business model of the traditional clothing enterprises, mass customization clothing has a clear economic advantage. It operates with the principle of customer-centric and rapid response to customer demand, which shortens the order delivery period.However, this advantage also means that the business processes of mass customization clothing enterprises have more complexity and uncertainty, such as the large amount of customer order information, big differences of products and orders, manufacturing system performance like production capacity and processing time, uncertain capacity by the impaction of labor resources, and etc.. This creats many difficuties for the companies to do business decisions. Therefore it is necessary to discuss a business process model and simulation methods for mass customization clothing enterprises. In order to dynamic adjust and manage the process, the enterprises should make full use of the limited resources, and continuously optimize the production configuration. By means of computer simulation and analysis, the manager can predict the results with the actual production uncertainties and improve the performance by taking targeted measures in accordance with goals. In other words, use the flexibility of the model to adapt to the uncertainty of the system.This paper, in the background of mass customization clothing enterprises, and on the basis of the previous studies, establishes of the enterprise business process model based on Petri net, finds out the key factors that affect the flow of time by dynamic simulation, and achieves the purpose of shorten order delivery period. Based on this, this paper researches from the following five aspects:First of all, the paper discusses in detail the characteristics, ideas and methods of optimization of business processes, summarizes four common methods of business process modeling,which is flowchart, IDEF model series, the time process chain driven model and Petri net, and expounds in detail the theory of Petri net.Secondly, on the basis of the basic and stochastic Petri net theroy, this paper builds up a Petri net model of mass customization clothing enterprises" business processes contrary to the specific characteristics of the of the enterprices. After that, it analyzes the performance of the Petri net model, and verifies that the Petri net model is live, bounded up and reachable.Thirdly, this paper uses WBM simulation software as a tool to conduct the simulation of the clothing mass cuntomzation enterprises’business process Petri net model which has been build. Form the aspect of order delivery period, this paper analyze the total time of the business process, as well as the duration of the various activities, to find out sevearl activities which take longer duration.Furthermore, it analyzes the reasons for longer duration and finds out that the reasons can be divided into two categories:resource allocation and a low degree of information application that leads to the low efficiency.Fourth, according to the simulation analysis, and combined with the actual situation of a clothing mass customzation eterprise, the paper proposes two types of optimization improvement ideas, that is allocation of resources optimization and information technology solution. Then it is verified by rerun the simulation that the the order dilivery period has been shorten, order response speed has been improved, so as to improve the overall efficiency and competitiveness of the enterprise.Finally, some problems to be discussed in future are pionted out based on summarizing the works done in this paper. |
