Rural land stock-cooperative stystem is another great initiative of farmers in rural landproperty rights system. With the acceleration of the process of urban-rural integration, therural labor force transferred gradually to the second and third industry, and the dependenceof farmers on the land reduced gradually. Under the combined effect of the various factors,rural land stock-cooperative develop gradually in the developed areas. As the mostdeveloped areas in Jiangsu Province, Suzhou rural land stock-cooperatives has developedrapidly recent years. The business licenses of the first farmers’ stock-cooperative, the firstland stock-cooperative and the first professional cooperative agency of farmers were bornin Suzhou, and the first farmers group established in Suzhou. After more than ten years, therural land stock-cooperatives in Suzhou maintained great momentum of development,promoted the usufructuary of management of land effectively and improve the efficiencyof agricultural production effectively.Based on this, the paper analyzes the domestic and international research aboutstock-cooperatives of rural land, as well as the theory and practice of landstock-cooperatives activities. Besides that the paper discussed the Farmers Group which isa new form of organization in the development of rural land stock-cooperatives. On thisbasis, the paper proposes four suggestions. First, we could perfect rural landstock-cooperatives from the legislative level. Second, we shall defined property rights ofcooperatives clearly, and improve the equity flow mechanism. Third, we could standardizethe internal management of the cooperatives. Fourth, we shall establish a reasonableincome distribution system.
