The grass-roots employees are the direct creators of foreign-funded enterprises’profits, and the most valuable human capital, they constitute the strategic resource in the core competitiveness of the enterprises. How to effectively encourage the grass-roots employees, improve the satisfaction, foster the loyalty and play their greater potential becomes a major challenge of the foreign-funded enterprise. And employee satisfaction is employee’subjective value judgments on their work, It is influenced by personal internal factors and external environmental factors, and it is the result that the employees’ expectations compared to the employees’actual perceptions. Researching on employee satisfaction influencing factors, which is beneficial to improve the overall satisfaction of employees.As an important support of the Chongqing industrial development, introduction of intellectual and investment, expanding employment, stimulating domestic demand, Xiyong Microelectronics Industrial Park (hereinafter referred to micro electric garden) has introduced many known companies such as HP, Foxconn, Quanta, Inventec, Microsoft, IBM and Schenker. This paper researches on improving employee satisfaction of foreign-funded enterprises, it elects the grass-roots employees in the foreign-funded enterprises of Xiyong Microelectronics Industrial Park as the object of researching. The author studies the employee satisfaction influencing factors with the methods of normative analysis and empirical research, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Firstly, this paper elaborates related concepts and theoretical basis of employees’satisfaction. Secondly, this paper designs the theoretical model of employees’satisfaction and develops the research hypothesis of employees’satisfaction. Again, this paper applies the statistical software of SPSS17.0to analyze and discuss the data from questionnaire. Finally, this paper puts forward the countermeasures to improve the grass-roots employee satisfaction of foreign-funded enterprises, according to the results of empirical analysis.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:Firstly, it is founded that age, marital status, work age, qualification, employment way and hometown location have significant influence on overall satisfaction, gender has no significant effect on overall satisfaction. This paper exploringly increases two main characteristic factors which are employment way and hometown location, and studies their impact on overall satisfaction, which enriching basic research in the field of employee satisfaction on foreign-founded enterprise. It is founded that the grass-roots employees who belong to the full-time employment are of the highest overall satisfaction, the grass-roots employees who belong to the part-time labor are of the second overall satisfaction, the labor dispatching employees’ overall satisfaction is lowest. The grass-roots employees who come from ShaPingBa (the county which the company located in) are of the higest overall satisfaction, The grass-roots employees who come from Chongqing outside of ShaPingBa (the city which the company located in) are of the lowest overall satisfaction, The overall satisfaction is in the second for grass-roots employees who come from the city outside of Chongqing.Secondly, this article redraws the factors, which affect the grass-roots employee satisfaction of foreign-founded enterprise. It includes four primary dimensions (the work itself, work reward, work groups and working environment) and19secondary dimensions.Thirdly, there is significant positive correlation between primary dimensions and overall satisfaction, and the influence from the high to low is the work itself, work reward, working environment and work groups. Work itself affects overall satisfaction in the first place, because the elements which the work itself contains are in every corner of the enterprise like air, employees can feel anytime and anywhere and are strongly affected by they.Work reword affects overall satisfaction in the second place, work reward is the power of grass-roots empoyees to work hard, it is an effective way to motivate employees that giving an appropriate work reward for grass-roots employees. The impact of work groups and work environment are relatively low for overall satisfaction.Fourthly, this paper puts forward the measures to improve the grass-roots employee satisfaction of foreign-founded enterprise, integrating the main factors which affect the grass-roots employee satisfaction of foreign-founded enterprise and low scoring average factors. they include improving the fitness of working, improving the challenging of work, providing full promotion space for employees, improving job achievement, increasing welfare measures, improving job recognition, improving the overtime system, strengthening equipment management.
